![]() | It was REALLY COLD! We got there early for the event, so Gracie and I caught the train back into Nagano City to look around. This train trip was the first time I experienced the 'pushers' who are hired to literally push people into the train like sardines. I was lucky, I got shoved back near some Canadians who had skiing equipment with them. Therefore, I could turn my front toward the equipment and not be jammed face against someone's back (or front) . When we got back to our stop, I was really concerned about getting off. I learned that day to push and mutter (or growl) 'excuse me' with force. I generally do my train and subway riding during off peak times; but, at the Olympics - there were no off peak times! |
