| On a sunnier day last fall (1999), Deon and I took the Snow Monkey tour. We had to hike (one-way) for 45 minutes through the forest and it was beautiful. The antics of the monkeys were wonderful to watch. There were wee little babies--as well as adult monkeys --swimming in the Hot Springs. They roam wild - this isn't a zoo . The human residents of the area have turned what is a nuisance population into a tourist attraction. |
